Happy with the product. Note, it will not work during load-shedding if WiFi is down. It is compatible with a power bank, making it extremely versatile. Magnetic base is strong. Subscription is required for cloud storage although you can save footage directly to a micro SD card. I can't compare to other products on the market but once you go with this brand, you need to commit to the entire range for maximum benefit from the software. You can log in to the feed from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. It is quite taxing on data, so you need a fast uncapped line.

Worth every cent! Live view features crisp clear 1080P video! The app features many excellent functions including integration with Google Home. The camera will also record motion clips onto the inserted SD card (sold separately) and you can go and view them afterwards. You can set an alarm to go off when it senses motion and even use it to 2-way talk. Best and most affordable of all the Ezviz family, definitely buying more!

This works well for home monitoring, use it all the time to run from PC. Only thing that could be better is is records movement vids, but you cant record continuous stream to local PC with out paying for cloud service.

Great product
I used this inside my apartment when I went away for weeks at a time. I have the app on my phone, so you can live monitor or check when it picks up movement (you get notified). You can adjust/tilt it to get the view you prefer It's plug-and-play, and user-friendly. It has to be plugged in for power, at all times, otherwise it wont work, so it wont work during loadshedding. You have to buy a memory card extra though, but can use it without one. It's small enough to not be easily detected, you can change the setting so it makes a noise or not. I love this and would definitely recommend.

It's a great product for what we needed. The imagr quality for the price is excellent, you can rewind and fast forward and the angle is wide enough for a medium sized room. The mounting is seemless, it works with magnets that you can place high and don't need to drill. The cord is super long and for loadshedding you can use a Powerbank

I bought this product for security and it does what it says, clear picture and like the audio and the function to talk through it, setup was easy and straightforward. Just make sure the network or wifi is stable during setup, I think it was just a network that made it fail the first time. Great product so far and will definitely get more of these devices.

Good in low light, and easy to set up
Set up was pretty simple. We have it about 7 meters through 1 wall from the wifi router, it works perfectly. Shows 2 out of 3 wifi bars. We set it to record onto the memory card, in 8 days it recorded 90 hours of footage, which is about 15% of the memory on a 64GB You can use the cloud storage but that's an additional subscription.

Good image quality
The image is great, even in the dark. Sound quality is a bit bad though. I use it mainly to look after kids when I'm in another room working so when I have to speak to them it poses an issue. But lovely camera nonetheless. I hate that it doesn't move or that you can't control movement/position of camera using an app. If the camera is pushed or moved without you noticing, and the image is hidden when logging in you can't do anything about it. Best part for me: My kids don't know how to use the phone yet so I've taught them to to simply unplug the camera and plug it back if they need to speak to me urgently when I'm out the house. The app sends me a notification after being unplugged and I log in immediately into the app to speak to them while I can see them. It makes me and my children feel so secure knowing they can choose to reach me anytime even if they have people in the house (they don't have to rely on asking them to call me should they feel the need).

The EZVIZ c1c is great. Super simple to set up just scan the QR. Magnetic base is also useful. Has good definition and a nice wide angle of view. So much easier than traditional CCTV cameras with cables and DVR's. I just pop one of these on the window sill and now easily have a camera looking outside, just have to switch off the IR for reflection.

Love these camera's, image quality is good. Very easy to mount even for woman/older folks (no need to drill holes or anything) The only thing that would have made this a 5 star is the actual app, it does not seem to record everything. It records events only. Maybe if you add a memory card it will be different. That does not bother me that much as you do get live view from anywhere, so I can have a look around my house from work/shops etc. I would personally buy more.

This is a must buy, stop searching for other IP cameras cause this is the one. lt's easy to set up, just a couple of steps and you're good to go, sends you notifications when it picks a motion, you can even draw an area where you wanna get notifications. I'm using this for my small Spaza shop and for the first time in years I can sleep peacefully.

Best value for money. The app is fast and works great, you barely realise it's Chinese... it's actually better than Hikvision in many ways! it has a strong magnetic attachment so that it can hang from a bolt on our loft office / cat room. My wife uses it as an intercom and we can pspspsps the cat while we are in bed or out. Remote viewing isn't an issue even with multiple users simultaneously - this is something you'll not think about testing but I've noticed it is an issue with other brands. Just make sure to get a fast SD card, not only capacity!

This is the second one we are buying as we are happy with the first and wanted to keep a unified app experience. The first one came with a memory card, but this one didn't, so if you don't have one spare it forces you to subscribe to the cloud storage, so keep that in mind (hence the 4 star instead of 5 stars). Setup is very easy and it integrates well with existing setups. just remember to keep the box for future enrolment if you have permanently mounted the cameras otherwise it is a pain to get to the QR code

Camera is good quality, even the packaging is showing it. I needed to drop the video quality to view fluently, but that can maybe attributed to my own WiFi. The camera and the app connection is easy to do, but the app sometimes freezes.

I'm very satisfied with this product, it can basically mount anywhere since they give you a bracket and the mount is also magnetic so I placed it on the back of my tv overlooking my living room, without any installation! I have used it for about a month now and i'm about to order another one. The only thing is that the night vision isn't perfect (by perfect i mean you can see clearly but it doesn't go as far as the more expensive ones) but I mean for this price it absolutely suits my needs. My father has the more expensive ones and they are also great but basically does the same thing especially if you have a small area you would like to put cameras in. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Very useful
I bought one indoor camera to see whether it would be any good for my purpose. It was relatively cheap in comparison to an outdoor camera. It worked perfectly; so I bought a 2nd camera. Both cameras are connected to my indoor inverters; so no problem with power. The one camera looks through a window to the outside area and works perfectly as the image is clear. One issue with the window is that you need to switch off the infrared because it focussed the camera on the glass when its dark outside and not on the outside; this problem was solved by switching on the outdoor spotlight. The other camera is inside and works very well for its purpose. No problem with wifi connectivity as both cameras are within 20 meters of the router regardless of closed doors etc.

I bought this camera as a security measure for my apartment. After seeing how user friendly it was, I bought a second one. You install the app, connect the camera and phone to 2.4 ghz wifi (must be the same) follow the prompts, scan the QR code and Bob's your uncle. You have to buy an SD card or pay for cloud subscription if you want to record. Two way talking. Night vision. Very easy to install. I view both cameras on the app. Would highly recommend.

The stream quality is great, but the app is a bit lacking. Also it seems to be unable to use 5ghz WiFi so there's that. As a basic security cam (or even a baby monitor) it works well enough. The mic picks up sound surprisingly well.

We bought this to use as a baby monitor/camera after a friend gave us the idea. It's SO much more affordable than an actual baby monitor and works so well! Night vision is amazing! Will definitely be buying more to put up around the house. It's motion activated, and you can use the app on your phone and see what's happening from literally anywhere! It also has a talk function through a built-in microphone on the camera, which is super cool. Would definitely recommend it.

The first camera was not working well with too many issues. I bought another one and it has not disappointed. The picture is clear and has a solid connection . I have opted to use an SD card, which works fine. You just can't fast forward with it. If you want all the features, you will have to subscribe to cloud service. Worth buying

It's ok for the price but the sound does not work unless you want to interact with the recording so you can't just listen to the recording sound without them also hearing you (like if you want to sleep in your room and you baby in another and have the sound come through to you if they wake up) The interface is also lacking a lot of ease of use, it's almost like they want to to be a pro user to use this while most of it's users are going to be stay at home moms, it should be simpler. the built quality is ok but the picture quality is not as good as everyone here says it is, frankly, it's not that good but you will recognize that's going on I guess. the motion detector is good.

This is my first security cam and I'm very happy with it. Good image quality, especially at night. Runs well on a power bank during loadshedding. App works so well and alerts you of movement. Times for notifications can be set with a schedule so they don't bother you. Motion alerts pop up on your phone and can also be sent via email. Camera is surprisingly small in size but don't underestimate it. It's well worth the price. I'm looking at buying a second one. You can add more cameras to monitor on the app and seamlessly switch between them. You can also view on your computer. Cloud storage is best because a memory card or your phone will get full very quickly. But the option that saves footage for 7 days on the cloud is available at R130 per month which isn't bad at all.

Excellent product. Does exactly what was expected. Just bought my 8th camera of this type, the first ones have operated for more than 1.5 years now. Image quality is excellent for price range. Simple design, yet very functional. Love the fact that I don't have to drill holes to mount, or lay a lot of cables for communication purposes - wifi connection is awesome. I have mounted all cameras on window frames and door frames. Works like a charm. The extra-long 3m USB power cord is awesome, making mounting options so much more. Picture is clear, and night vision is amazing. Really really good images. When I moved, it is a simple unplug and dismount, and similarly easy setup at the new place. Functionality and navigation on the app is great and easy, and the options in terms of setting is more than what was expected. Interface on the app for viewing individual or multiple cameras is perfect. Would highly recommend!

Magnificent cameras . Easy to install , as in 5 minutes easy. Crystal clear view , superb night vision . Great wide angle , sees almost everything. Good sound . I'll say maybe it should be disclosed that you only get automatic recording and saving to the cloud if you pay a subscription of approx 9USD/month and that stores your videos for 7days. If you want for 30 days , it will cost you approx 19USD/month . A bit of drawback , I agree . But you can always buy memory cards . Otherwise , as I said amazing product . Bought 3 , one had a fuzzy vision , has been swapped promptly by Takealot. Highly appreciated.

I have a few in different areas. The camera gives good coverage, with option to play back and automatically saves footage to a memory card. You need to purchase a memory card if you don't want footage uploaded to a cloud server. Very good product and would definitely recommend.

Nice little camera for indoor use. 1080p works well indoors, but distant areas may be a bit unclear. Infrared and night vision works well indoors. Works with Blue Iris. Quite wide angle, if put in a corner you will pick up side walls/ceiling depending on angle, which may over expose at night with IR.

Video, night vision and response time is extremely good. The only drawback is that I could not get WiFi direct to work (there are also no instructions included for this, except when you search on the web), which we could only connect through a router and then it definitely requires an internet connection or else the setup fails. This makes it a bit tricky when you want to use it as a portable device, like for camping, where you need to set up a hotspot device and do a connection through that.

When using the Armed setting, and motion is detected - then notification is sent to phone within roughly 10 to 20 seconds. The cloud storage playback is a great feature, however is only free for 1 week. I would recommend signing up for a subscription.
