The battery is lasting longer than my previous one I had on my gate motor. I have had others that only lasted through a few outages, this one is lasting well so far.

I'm not having joy with batteries. Unfortunately with loadshedding it's really hard to know if it's the product or just a std that every 2 months you need to replace batteries. I have experienced the same with other products including gel. I opted for these as they were more affordable than the gel if I was going to replace so often. This performed a bit better than the gel in my mind but I am not an expert. It's hard to give a proper review bearing this in mind

Not Really Worth it
I bought this battery and when i first installed this into my upstairs it was working great but a week later… it just stopped charging, not sure if i got a faulty one but still was not worth buying in my opinion.

Battery for UPS
Bought this battery to replace my UPS battery and it works beautifully against Load Shedding. To all the other reviewers and buyers please note that if you want a battery for your alarm system or UPS in order to survive load shedding you have to oversize your required battery system. If your alarm and battery drain down completely you will have to add more batteries or stronger batteries, otherwise the only thing your doing is destroying your battery and then giving it a bad review. This applies to every single Lead Acid battery BRAND. Use the drain rate of lead acid batteries to calculate how many batteries you will need.
Please note:
The connectors of this battery are smaller then the standard UPS battery connectors that I have come across. Either buy another brand or change the UPS Connector. These are +-5mm wide my UPS connectors are +-7mm wide. You can use these batteries straight onto the UPS however there will be quite a bit of play. So I wouldn't juggle your UPS around. But otherwise, its a decent battery. -

Doesn't stand up to constant loadshedding
Had this for less than 6 months and it only powers my router and CPE for about an hour or so now. down from 8 hours when it was new. these batteries are unfortunately not designed to survive the constant load shedding that we are facing. I have replaced the Arion Power box that I used this battery in with a Li-ion backup solution.
