It records IP cameras up to 12MP with up to 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth, outputs 4K over HDMI and takes two SATA hard drives of up to 16TB each.

Built-in AcuSense technology on the recorder reduces false alarms with human and vehicle recognition, and AcuSeek lets you find people and vehicles quickly across all channels when paired with AcuSense cameras that have AcuSearch enabled (modelling up to 50,000 targets per day). Cameras are connected and configured automatically. This K2 model has no built-in PoE ports, so cameras are powered by a PoE switch or their own power supplies.

Key features

Up to 8-channel IP camera input, recording up to 12MP

Up to 80 Mbps incoming and 160 Mbps outgoing bandwidth

AcuSeek and AcuSearch on up to 8 channels

AI by NVR: facial recognition, perimeter protection, Motion Detection 2.0, AcuSearch, AcuSeek

AI by NVR and camera: facial recognition, perimeter protection, Motion Detection 2.0, ANPR, VCA

Perimeter protection by NVR: 2 channels up to 4MP or 1 channel 5–8MP; all channels by camera

Motion Detection 2.0 by NVR on all channels up to 4MP (up to 8MP with enhanced SVC mode)

Up to 16 face picture libraries with up to 50,000 face pictures; 8-channel face picture comparison

H.265+ / H.265 / H.264+ / H.264 video formats

HDMI up to 4K and VGA up to 1080p, with independent outputs

2 SATA bays, up to 16TB per HDD

Automatic camera connection and configuration

Specifications

IP video input: 8 channels

IP speaker input: 4 channels

Decoding capability (AI off): 4-ch 12MP, 6-ch 8MP, 8-ch 6MP, 8-ch 4MP, 8-ch 3MP or 8-ch 2MP @ 30fps

Decoding capability (AI on): 2-ch 12MP, 3-ch 8MP, 4-ch 6MP, 6-ch 4MP, 8-ch 3MP or 8-ch 2MP @ 30fps

Synchronous playback: 8 channels

Recording resolution: 12MP, 8MP, 6MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 1080p, UXGA, 720p, VGA, 4CIF, DCIF, 2CIF, CIF, QCIF

HDMI output: 4K (3840 × 2160)/30Hz, 2K (2560 × 1440)/60Hz, 1080p/60Hz, UXGA/60Hz, SXGA/60Hz, 720p/60Hz

VGA output: 1080p/60Hz, UXGA/60Hz, SXGA/60Hz, 720p/60Hz

Audio: 1 × RCA input (two-way audio), 1 × RCA output

Audio compression: G.711ulaw, G.711alaw, G.722, G.726, AAC, MP2L2

Network: 1 × RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps; up to 128 remote connections

Network protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DDNS, NTP, RTSP, SADP, SMTP, SNMP, NFS, iSCSI, ISUP, UPnP, HTTP, HTTPS

Storage: 2 × SATA, up to 16TB per HDD

Alarm in/out: 4/1

USB: 1 × USB 2.0 front, 1 × USB 2.0 rear

Power: 12 VDC, 3.33 A; consumption ≤15 W without HDD

Operating conditions: -10°C to 55°C, 10%–90% humidity

Dimensions (W × D × H): 384 × 317 × 52mm

Weight: ≤3kg without HDD

Certifications: CE, CB, REACH, WEEE, UKCA, RCM, IC
