Expected better
I'm a little disappointed with this purchase. I own one of these already but decided to get a second one after temporarily misplacing my original. The power on this product is far below expected. after charging overnight it still sounds like it's running on low battery. Battery life is also reduced compared to my original - I cant shave my legs without the device dying even from a full charge. I would not recomend this product.

This is my second one blade shaver. It works as expected and shave quality is dependant on the sharpness of the blade. The blade lifetime for myself is around 2-3 months as I shave regularly. This form factor is quite easy to transport, and the USB charger makes it perfect of travel. If you are planning to use it daily, I would recommend getting a different model with a larger battery. I purchased this one on sale and for that it was well worth it's price. When it is not on sale, you are better off purchasing a slightly more expensive model with better battery.

My major complaint is that I can't confidently say if my device is fully charged or not. I might be missing something in the user manual but when it's on charge it shows a yellow/beige light, regardless of how long it's been on charge for. The Philips website also isn't helpful, just says there are too many models to write down each one's directions(bit of a cop out) In the end I'd give it 4/5. It loses that star solely because if the charging fiasco.

Go for one with bigger battery
This version is not the one to get. I bought it since I needed a charger cable. This version, while slightly smaller, has a far reduced power output even when fully charged. It struggles, and then the battery doesn't even last as long. Also, while just for info, the cable doesn't fit my original one blade

Best alternative shave ever
This has to be one of the best alternative shavers on the market. As someone is used to the traditional way of shaving and has a sensitive skin, this was the best alternative that I could find with NO skin irritation, which was awesome and the other bonus, it was quick! So if you're looking for an alternative way of shaving this is it, it's quick, smooth, waterless and doesn't irritate your skin.

Best electric shaver I've used
I've used a traditional razor with shaving gel/cream for literally decades (I'm getting old!) because I like a really close shave, which I couldn't get previously with an electric shaver. I read the reviews for the OneBlade and decided to give it a try and I am blown away by the quality of the shave (almost as close as a traditional razor) and the battery life. My only concern is that it feels a bit under-powered and I regret not spending a bit more for the next model up. But as I got this model on the 50% sale, I'll happily keep using it until it dies and then upgrade to the more expensive model.

Best razor on the market
I used this razor for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! In the past I almost alway nick myself while using electric razors, but this shave was a completely painfree experience. The razor is waterproof which allows you to shave in the shower and completely minimise mess, genuinely such a game changer. I don't think I could go back to other razors after using this one

This is the best razor I have ever owned. And I have owned hundreds of them over the years. It's small but powerful and very easy to use - unlike other clunky electric razors I have had. I can use it to trim my beard with perfect, sharp edges or completely shave it off. The shave is clean and just as good if not better than a razor. I have also used it to shave the hair on other parts of my body to both 1 and 3 mm length (those are the sizes it came with and the only ones I need personally) and again it outperformed any other shaving device I have used because of its ability to shave any contour and its maneuverability. I also used it in the shower since it's waterproof. But even the dry shave (without shaving cream) was very smooth and left no rash or nicks - which is miraculous for my skin. To charge it I just plug it in with the USD cord it came with and although I believe it says the running time is supposed to be 30 min, I have used it for over an hour and it kept going. I only charged it because I didn't want it to possibly stop mid shave at some point. The other great thing was the price. This was the best cost I could find either in person or online. I have been hunting and experimenting with different shavers for years and I am so relieved to find an all-around perfect one finally!!!

Slightly smaller than the original razor handle but it still works great! Also much cheaper than the original razor pack. The only downside is that the battery doesn't last as long but this doesn't bother me as I can use it a few times before needing to charge it :)

Great for a Quick Trim
I purchased this for my boyfriend and he really likes it. It's not great for getting the closest shave, or on short hair. But with longer hairs and trimming your beard it works great. I wouldn't recommend this if you want it replace normal razors.

The Stuff review was spot on. This lightweight does heavy work but fits into small spaces. It does not nick but trims short and does shaping very well. It's the best one I've ever had. The 8-hour charging time is a stretch but the usb cable means this is a small hindrance. Takealot's 50% discount made it a no-brainer. Stock up on blades. They last but they're not cheap.

works fine, but the battery life is only about 39 minutes and then you have to charge it for a good few hours. also dint lose the cable as replacements are non existent. I'd suggest getting a larger model with a bigger battery

This is my first one blade. I think it's perfect for a quick clean shave if you're in a rush or just lazy. As for trimming and styling it's decent but not great, you should think about going one step higher for that. It's silent compared to the cheaper metallic ones and extremely light weight. The only issue is charge time and battery life. It takes forever to charge and the battery life is poor. Try and buy it on sale.

I bought the Phillips one blade for my husband because I broke a different one of his and honesty it was the best mistake I made by breaking it. This one that I bought is very powerful , easy to use and allows him to be in complete control. It saves money because he doesn't need to constantly go to the barber to get a good shave he can do it in the comfort of his own home. Highly recommend!

Not a very efficient trimmer. The concept is good; one head for trimming and shaving, but it doesn't work as well as it could. You need to go over the same section of hair 5-10 times before you can consider it shaved. The trimming section of the blade is not great either. Consider a conventional razor and trimmer.

It functions similarly to a manual razor, but it doesn't shave as closely to the skin. If you prefer a very smooth finish, this might not be the right option for you. The battery life is decent; I've used it times on my facial hair and a few tests on body hair without needing to recharge it yet. It also doesn't work too well on very short hair, in my experience.

Is it really a One Blade?
The product is a OneBlade and when you read the write up it speaks about the mutli function of this amazing razor. Unfortunately if you are expecting a close shave, this is not the product to use. It is moderately effective as a body groomer, however it struggles with softer hair. The manual says it takes 8 hours to charge with aproximately 30 minutes of use. There is an indicator light which shows that it is charging however it does not change to another colour or switch off when it is fully charged. Don't get me wrong, it is a great quality product but you need to know what you want before purchasing.

I have always had troubles with shave rash, and I like a cleanly shaven face. So for a few years now I have just been using a normal hair clipper. The shaver shaves really close to the skin but it is not as smooth as a razor. It is the smoothest electric razor I have tested and it does not irritate your skin. I've only used it twice so I can't speak for it's durability, but if this thing lasts even a few months it's incredible value for money. This thing must have ruined the classic razor shaving industry...why would you ever use them again once you've experienced this. The one blade shaves absolutely close enough (I've only used it dry, don't see why I would use it wet) and the slight 5 o'clock shadow that you might get rid of for a few hours if you shaved with a blade, is certainly not worth the hassle and almost gaurenteed cuts/burns. I am never going back. This is the weaker version of the two but at this price point it's a no brainer ... I can imagine the increased power being nice and probably shaves quicker, but if you shave slow and steady, this power output is completely sufficient.

Good, pity about the battery
Coming from a more traditional electric shaver and separate (and cheap, very irritating trimmer), this is a welcome surprise. I like the fact that it doesn't try to shave completely smooth and clean - nobody wants that any more! I love the fact that it has one blade that does both shaving and trimming. I like that I can use it dry. It feels like it is supposed to nick you, but I haven't had one spot of blood or pulled hair yet. Works very well in that regard! I love the fact that I can rinse it under the tap. The size is great, as is the USB charging cable (super annoying having to lug a dedicated charger or replacement batteries on travels when everything else I own is USB). The replacement blades are relatively well priced from what I can see (unlike my previous Phillips shaver, where replacement blades cost more than the shaver itself) and easy to come by. The only complaint is that I missed that his has a Ni-Mh battery and not Li-ion. Can't imagine buying anything with a Ni-Mh powered device these days, but apparently they still do it. That being said, it packs enough juice for me to shave my face from down a fairly hairy situation to a clean shave (or at least as clean as the OneBlade goes) with juice to spare. All in all a good buy, especially at the price!

Very small and convenient. The usb cable makes it possible to take it anywhere and charge anytime. The charging cable is not compatible with older one blade shavers. The fitting and form factor is different. A single charge will last a few quick shaves or 2 to 3 long shaves. The use of the universal one blade makes it very pleasant and useful.

Decent for the price as a travel shaver.
Works very well like all Philips one shavers, however I also have the bigger version that costs more and it's clearly much more powerful and quicker to use for everyday use, however this ones compact size and low price means it's very easy to stow away in a travel bag ideally.

I have been using the Philips shaver since the covid lockdown in 2020.The Philips Shaver is quick to use, gives a great shave and the charge lasts for quite a few shaves. The shaver is very light easy to store and take anywhere for travellers and home users. I highly recommend this product.

Best shaver series to date still. Only issue I have is that I thought I could use the charger from the other oneblade I have but cannot. Need to source the USB adapter for this now as I do not want to use any adapter and possibly risk damaging the charging cycles and battery.
