I had one of those ink-jet oakies that spends 40 minutes "cleaning" itself every time you turn it on, only to tell you it’s out of Cyan. I don't even want Cyan! I’m printing a black-and-white map to the pub, bra! Why do you need the blue?!So, I went and got a Laser Printer Scanner. Here’s the breakdown.The "No-Wifi" Situation - Now, look, I bought the model without Wi-Fi. I plugged in a physical USB cable like it’s 2005. It’s a direct connection. It’s intimacy. It works every time because the data doesn't have to travel through the air like a bloody confused pigeon.Reliability: The real star of the show here is the toner.Ink-jets: These things are high-maintenance divas. If you don't use 'em for a week, the ink dries up and the nozzles get more clogged than a drain in a frat house.Lasers: This thing uses powder and heat. You can leave it for six months, come back, hit print, and it’ll churn out a page faster than a magpie chasing a cyclist.Verdict: It’s dependable. It’s the loyal Golden Retriever of the office world. It doesn't care about your feelings; it just wants to fuse plastic to paper with the power of a thousand suns.The Scanner: The scanner is top-notch too. Not perfect, but worth it
I have used a Canon 3in1 laser printers for my business for many years now. Cost effective, cartridges last super long, hardly has any issues, apart from some issues with the drivers. Reinstalling the original drivers is sometimes required, especially for the MF scan utility. When it came to needing another printer for my business, I went with what I trust.

The printer is great, quality great, value for money!! BUT getting it to work was a mission!!!!! I'm not very tech minded and Windows 11 has its issues, and that combined with an older model printer was impossible for me. Took it to an expert who fixed everything and it now works beautifully.

finally i can review this printer.
1- this printer is basically black and white.
2- software is installed via a disc that comes with this printer, when you are on win 7.
3- Those on win 10, you will have to reach canon website for softwares. But please, assure you extract only two listed softwares which are (toolbox & mf3010 v3901...)
4- When installing this softwares, your printer should be OFF.
6- After installing this softwares, you will get a message to connect printer for conclusion of installation.
7- From this point if you have followed this guidelines. You will now enjoy the fullness of your printer. with a toolbox on your desktop for easy access and control.
8- This printer has one of the cheapest cartridges i have ever seen. plus the prints are superb.
I reccomend this printer to anyone. -

Great prints, ink fairly economical
I use this printed for invoices. It prints excellently. Set up was fairly simple. No wireless connection though.
The original canon ink cartridge it came with needed to be shaken all the time after about 500 pages or it printed unevenly.
Once I changed cartridges to a generic ink for R189 it was excellent and has been really economical. -

This is a massive upgrade from the inkjets!
Startup time is quick, and it'll keep on printing without issue.
Only down side is if you scan many pages you need to scan them one by one, but not a biggie for me. -

Great but needs updating
Product works great, after a bit of an effort. Software on the CD that accompanies the product is outdated - 32 bit where most office products in use now is 64bit.
No plug and play prompts for driver download.
As a saving grace, the Canon online platform is brilliant, found the latest drivers and MF Toolbox online and downloaded it. Everything works now, so just a pamphlet or disclaimer with the goods directing people to the online platform would change this to a 5star rating -
Excellent value for money
Easy to use and and ink cartridges readily available at affordable prices. The disk that ships with the product did not contain drivers that were compatible with my device, but the manufacturers website provided the latest software and even recommended the best installation option for my operating system. Make sure to order a printer cable if you don't have one yet (most printers don't ship with a cable). I was also pleasantly surprised at how fast this printer gets the job done. Very happy with the purchase.

Hi everyone. I bought this printer for personal use, and it surpasses my needs. It is fast and quiet, and has good resolution. Installation was a bit tricky when using the CD's, as the CD is only compatible with a 32 bit computer. I ended up just googling the computer brand, and found a 64 bit compatible program. Once I did this, set up was a snap. Very easy printer to use, and the toner cartridges are economical as well, and available on Takealot. Once it was set up, she ran like a dream. Highly recommended.

Happy with printer. Did not come with cord but have one from my old Canon printer. My old laptop was not compatible with disc supplied but was easy enough to download from the internet. It’s compact, neat and not noisy.

end plug of power cord not compatible with normal adaptor. had to get and international adaptor to fit the plug point in. even local canon dealer did not have fitting for plug point.

Doesn't come with Bluetooth or a printer cable and comes with 32-bit software on a DVD...must be an old model. I got it working on Windows 10 Pro after going to the Canon site and downloading the drivers and toolkit (software for scanning). Still couldn't get it working so logged a support call with Canon. Turns out the printer only liked the one USB port even though all were working fine. Now that it's working, printing, scanning and copying great! Only giving 4 stars cause was a pain to get up and running on 64-bit.

Awesome little office printer that ticks all the boxes. A bit frustrated that software and drivers were still delivered via CD-ROM as my workstation does not have a CD Drive but was able to quite effortlessly install required software and drivers from the Canon site
Printing and scanning functions are a little noise but I would definitely recommend for small office use environment -
