The COMPTYCO A-1233 Fiber Optic Loose Tube Stripper is a compact precision tool designed for longitudinal stripping and mid-span access of small-diameter loose buffer tubes. It enables fibre technicians to open the protective tube in a controlled manner to access the optical fibres inside during installation, splicing, repair, and maintenance work.

Featuring six circular caliber grooves, the A-1233 accommodates loose tube diameters from 1.2 mm to 3.3 mm. The multiple groove design allows technicians to select the appropriate diameter position for the cable being worked on, providing better positioning and control during the stripping process.

Precision Longitudinal Stripping

The A-1233 is specifically designed for longitudinal tube opening, allowing technicians to make a controlled incision along the length of the loose buffer tube. This makes it suitable for applications where access to internal fibres is required without unnecessarily removing the complete protective tube.

6-Caliber Diameter Design
