The COMPTYCO A-3511 Fiber Optic Loose Tube Stripper is a compact precision tool designed for longitudinal stripping and mid-span access of loose buffer tubes in fibre optic cables. It allows technicians to open the protective tube cleanly and efficiently to access the optical fibres inside during installation, splicing, repair, and maintenance work.

The A-3511 incorporates six circular cable grooves, covering diameter ranges from 3.5 mm to 11 mm. This multi-caliber design allows one tool to accommodate different loose tube sizes while maintaining proper positioning during the stripping process.

Precision Longitudinal Stripping

The tool is specifically designed to create a controlled longitudinal incision along the loose buffer tube. This makes it suitable for applications where technicians need to access internal fibres without unnecessarily removing the entire tube.
