Was disappointed that if you attach the camera to a metal surface magnetically it is only the camera that attaches and not the mounting plate so you can’t adjust the camera angle. Description is misleading in this regard. Otherwise camera seems good

Usually good but now I am wondering
I have used Ezviz cameras on our unfenced plot for several years now. We have quite a few. Our first BC1C helped us actually catch a criminal. That said I have never really liked their software as I find it could be made more user friendly but that is not the issue now. This camera I purchased on 15 July 2025 appears to be faulty. I have had numerous false alarms and more than one occasion where the camera has failed to record anything even though I know 100% that a vehicle or person passed under it. This has never happened before.I contacted the importers earlier today so will update this review as soon as I have had a reply from them. It may be a mistake I have made with the settings.13 Nov 2025 - as it turns out I did not purchase this faulty camera from this supplier (apologies), but have just ordered a replacement from them which is slightly cheaper than I paid several months ago. All credit to Takealot for an excellent and very efficient returns system. My faulty camera was collected two days ago (and we live on a plot out of town in the bush) and now I have just used the credit to purchase a replacement!

Excellent Camera
Excellent Camera. Connected it to mains. Detection works wonderful, clarity is really good. And bonus if connected to mains records 24/7.
