The AUA-550 provides a simple solution for cleaning fiber connector end faces before connection, testing, or splicing. Pressing the spring-loaded lever advances a clean section of the textile ribbon while the protective shutter opens, allowing the connector end face to be cleaned quickly and efficiently.

Because the cleaning process is dry, there is no need to carry or apply alcohol during routine connector maintenance.

Replaceable Cleaning Ribbon

Once the cleaning ribbon has been depleted, the cassette can be opened and the cleaning tape core replaced. This helps reduce ongoing operating costs and extends the useful life of the cleaning cassette.
