Great camera - quality is awesome. Only downfall is that it has nowhere or no way for the camera to sit ontop of a laptop. You therefore have to make a plan by balancing on a book or ledge. But overall great value for money if you get it at on the Deal

Clear wide-angle 1080p at 25 or 30 Frames per Second. Install The "HIK IN" software for Windows to change the Angle/Zoom/Brightness Saturation controls. It is a bit on the "warm" side for me but that was easily remedied using the HIK-IN software.

Hikvision DS-U02
I bought 2 of these for my workplace thinking they were just cheap webcams.
boy ohh boy was I wrong,So I went and bought myself one. This one has fixed focus max 6-7CM from lens.
the DS-U02P is the one with variable focus not this one.
I set this up for TikTok studio and OBS as a facecam for my streams, and you know what?, It looks better than a Logitech C series webcam by far.
it has a very wide angle so you can crop into the parts you need.
the camera through the camera settings does have a small bit of zoom to take the FOV to around 90.
The webcam us 30fps but it feels smoother.
remember folks and I also didn't think, Hivision is one of the world's biggest CCTV camera manufacturers and the experience shows well and translates well into their webcams. -
Nearly Perfect!
This is a great webcam so long as you have a well-lit environment. The dynamic range isn't really impressive and that's it's biggest weakness. The audio and visuals (when provided enough light) are awesome. It comes recommended.

For the price, this camera is awesome. The picture is pretty clear, it’s slightly pixelated in some lighting conditions but that is to be expected for the type that it is. For any beginner streamers and Youtubers, this is a solid and budget friendly option.

I bought this to stream on TT. I create crafting content. although it is not the best for close-up work, it is good if you are a gamer and want to stream yourself. It's a handy little thing and has good specs.

Could be better.
The Hikvision brand is fairly well known so when I looked at getting a 1080p webcam it seemed like a good option. For the price I got it at, it is meh.
Let me explain.
You don't get drivers or software with the webcam. It uses drivers that Windows installs (Win10Pro for me).
After Windows installed the drivers I tested the webcam and the colours were totally washed out, it showed an over exposed image and there was no way to change the brightness.
I had to go search for something/software to either update the firmware and hopefully fix the issue, or find software to change the camera settings.
Pro Tip: Look for software "HIK IN" on the Hikvision website.
With that I was able to change settings on the webcam, got some colour on those cheeks and were even able to zoom in.
With that it purrs like a kitten.
I'm glad I got that sorted and hopefully it helps someone else who's considering this webcam. -
Does the job
This does the job its not bad at all, its 1080p so expect a little blotchyness but perfectly fine for teams calls or gaming.

Quite good
Got this camera for making videos for YouTube. It has a very nice color and sharp picture. Quite a wide angle that it captures. The only thing that I would have like is that it could maybe zoom in a bit. You can do that with Windows, but you are limited by software zoom and not hardware zoom. Easy to setup in OBS or Windows. For the price this is a really good camera.

So far so good. It is nice upgrade compared to my old Logitech webcam. I bought it for my online exams as I need to have a live camera on while writing for monitoring reasons (IRIS). It has a nice wide angle. If you are studying via Unisa and doing online exams - this will be a good buy.

Nice for my google meets
Gives a nice quality image and voice. Wouldn't use it for making professional videos or streaming necessarily, but very nice for my meetings.
My monitor sits on a pole, and I strapped this camera to the pole using fabric velcro ties. It sits there pretty well.
I do wish the camera had a hardware switch to turn it off proper (for security), but I've opted to just cover it with a cutout bit of plastic from the packaging.
Sometimes when I connect to meetings, my camera shows up as "off" and I have to restart the tab until the camera is picked up, but I suspect this is more an issue with my Windows then the camera itself. -

I have only used this webcam for about a week and I haven't come across any problems. The camera is clear and has a wide view. You can easily attach it on any desktop

I have to say, i was sceptic about buying this webcam as I had bad experiences in the past, however, this camera has surprised me!
The build-in mic could be better, but the video quality is tops. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent webcam for work, video chat or even streaming. -
Value for money
I did a lot of research for a replacement for my elderly Logitech C170. After watching a video on YT comparing the performance of this against a well respected one at double the price I chose the Hikvision. I'm very familiar with their CCTV hardware so a trusted brand.
No problem with connecting it but wanted to mount it under a shelf over my monitors and that meant turning it upside down. Flip the image? No problem as they have a lovely app that lets you adjust light, colour balance, frame rate, field of view by zooming in or out, and resolution. And you can flip the image vertically and horizontally to suit your needs.
The audio is crisp and clear so I've taken away my usb desk mic used for video calling.
Go get one! -
