Description

MC4 connectors are the standard plug-and-socket for photovoltaic solar cables. This set includes a male and a female connector housing with crimp contacts, for joining PV cable between solar panels, combiner boxes, charge controllers and inverters.

Crimp the metal contacts onto the stripped cable, push them into the housings and tighten the cable glands; the two halves then snap together. Use a proper MC4 crimping tool and make sure the connector suits your PV cable size and system voltage.
