Netlink HTB-GM-03-2KM Gigabit Fibre Media Converter - Multimode Dual Fibre SC, 2km, RJ45 10/100/1000Mbps

The Netlink HTB-GM-03-2KM is a Gigabit Ethernet fibre media converter that connects copper network equipment to multimode fibre over distances of up to 2km. Plug a standard network cable into the 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 port and a duplex SC multimode patch lead into the fibre port, and the converter links the two.

It's ideal for short fibre runs inside and between buildings, in server rooms and data centres, and for CCTV networks where existing multimode fibre is in place. Front-panel LEDs show power, fibre and copper link/activity, speed and duplex status, and the compact unit runs from an external DC power adapter.

A fibre link needs a matching device at each end: use a second HTB-GM-03-2KM or a switch fitted with a matching multimode SFP module.
