Great quality at a great price
I bought this in sale some time back. It was the same price as some of these cheaper brands you find at the pharmacy. Great quality straightener at a very reasonable price. Love the adjustable heat settings as I prefer to use low heat just to neaten up my straight hair before going out. Natural ethnic hair ladies - this one has good plates and can do silk press.

Lovely product! I used to have a Babyliss straightener from Clicks - it lasted me quite long but this Philps straightener is way more elegant and glides so smoothly through my hair. I love that it has the different heat settings as my hair is quite thick so needs a bit more head to be tamed.

Does the job for the price. Would recommend taking your time since the plates don’t grip quite as well as other flat irons. Would recommend this as extra flat iron you keep around in case your go to one breaks

I read all the reviews about the straightner and was sceptic. But decided to buy it as it was marked down. And my Toni & Guy broke. I had x2 GHD before but could not afford them anymore and had x2 Toni and Guy. And I can honestly say this one is the best one I ever had. It heats up quickly, glides with no pulling at the hair. And while using your hand does not burn easily. I have frizzy curly wavy hair. It is super straight afterwards. I have a lot of hair with volume and this controls it. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and price.

It’s light and easy to hold especially if you have thick hair( it takes awhile) but you need to use both your hands to hold the straightener to keep your hair in between the plates ( one hand at each end)So it’s difficult to straighten your hair yourself. It works well if someone else straightens it for you.

I enjoy using it. The cord is nice and long so I don't have to struggle with extention leads. The iron gets warm quickly and cools down quickly. It's a handy on the go tool to have. I use it a lot. And I've had no complaints.

This straightener works very well. I love that it has various heat settings. The only thing to complain about is that you need to press slightly harder otherwise the blades do not clos completely on one-another. But other than that, it is a lovely product!

This straightener is the best investment I have made for personal hair care. I have had mine since 2020, and still no problem with it - I purchased one as a gift to my daughter, because she couldn't leave mine alone. I would definitely recommend this product - and in my personal opinion I will rate it higher than original GHD straighteners. I love my Phillips Thermo Straightener.
