Works perfect, strong as well, and it is just plug play with zero problems
Exactly what i needed
Needed this for a 4TB 2.5" Hard drive upgrade on a PS4. It was too thick to fit inside so i needed this to extend the SATA so i cpuld plug in the 4TB outside of the ps4. Worked like a charm

The bygone convenience of eSATA reclaimed!
Works exactly as expected right out of the packaging. Has a decent length, cable is conveniently flexible, and feels like it's made out of a good quality plastic, giving assurance that it won't wear out quickly over the years.I use this cable to extend out of my desktop computer's chassis, so that I can plug in full-sized HDD's externally. This allows for full-speed transfers with no USB overhead. Backups that take around 12 hours to complete over USB3, take about 7 hours instead, a major improvement! The external drive not being hot-swappable is most certainly a worthwhile tradeoff.
