I bought 2 of these for my dual monitor set up and worked so well, I got another two for my wife. Have worked well, mine or over two years old with no complaints. Plugs straight into my iPhone to use a monitor as a larger display without having to mail/bluetooth/airdrop images to laptop.

WOW works great!
WOW works great! what I received looks different (just styling) than pictured, but I am running a HD 24" VGA monitor on this using my PC's USB C 3.1 port. Flawlessly at HD resolution.

Pleasantly Surprised
I acquired this USB-C to VGA adapter after I had difficulty using an older HDMI to VGA adapter on my laptop. I was expecting similar problems, or at least setup issues with this unit, but tried it none the less. Surprisingly, the adapter worked right away. I didn't have to search for, or download any drivers - it just worked. It also detected the resolution of my older screen correctly, and I don't have any "ghost images" on the screen, like with other adapters or cables. My only minor concern is that my laptop gives a "USB-C Power" warning from time to time. I then just briefly unplug the adapter, and plug it back in after a few seconds, and the warning is gone. I'll be using this adapter on a permanent basis during the immediate future.
