The quality is decent and the blades feel safe against bare skin with no clip so it doesn't catch or hurt.
Would have been nice if it was rechargeable, but decent AA batteries will last pretty long if you don't use it every day.
Clip sizes are good. The adjustable one is tricky to figure out, but sturdy and doesn't slip. -

The only point I take off from this is that it not the quietest device. You'll notice that when targeting the sideburn areas, but overall it does a good job, not as good as a razor, but you also won't have to deal with razor Knicks and burns. Highly recommended of you'd like to skip the razor altogether

Bought this machine for my boyfriend in 2022 and he was so happy with the purchase. The machine is still functional in 2025 so the quality is great !
However I didn’t realise that it is quite small, it is impractical for hair cuts, he rather uses it to trim his beard.

IT SIMPLY GETS THE JOB DONE!
I have used the Wahl Groomsman for decades, during which period I don't think it has changed one iota. Prior to this I tried various other makes and models, most of which gave up the ghost when asked to tackle a real beard! The Groomsman simply gets the job done, year in and year out. The batteries last very well considering how hard the little machine works until, eventually, the on/off switch ceases to bring it to life. Persevere, however, and it will again fire up although the first warning of eventual failure has been given. I regard these as throwaway products and, as and when the need arises, I simply buy another - normally after years of faithful service. The price seems to me to be reasonable and, in all honesty, I have never had any inclination to try another product. Viva! Wahl Groomsman, I say! Buy it with confidence and use it in the knowledge that it will get the job done!

Very happy with this product. It works well, and does the job. It's a bit louder than I anticipated but it's a solid build. I would have preferred a built-in rechargeable battery but that's a minor thing.
