I used cooking lol oil on my clipper for a while and it came to a stand still,was about to buy a new clipper but then bought this clipper oil instead and after using it on my old clipper it's working.The oil is good for its purpose and help even sharpening the wahl clipper's blade.I guess you can use the oil on any hair cutter machine.

I've used several other brands, often, their oil was thick that I had to apply them days prior using the equipment - since the blades will not operate should I apply them as I use it - but, nothing like that transpires with this brand, it simply is incredible, and yes I'd happily recommend it. The blades move lot faster, clipper has become a lot quiter, and tougher since using it. Bad news is only that: I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't exactly full inside the bottle. Like everything we buy in today's (SA) economy, if it's not the quality that suffers, it's the quantity - but still, I don't have to like it as a consumer, even though I may understand the reasons why.
