The unit works fine. Just be aware however that the cable lengths are important. I had an existing 20m HDMI cable and needed to move my TV another couple of meters away from where it was. So i bought another 5m HDMI and this extender. Unfortunately using the additional 5m HDMI with this doesn't work. I had another 1.5m HDMI cable that i then tested and it worked with the extender and the 20m existing HDMI cable. So the distance is extremely important. (The additional 5m HDMI i used is new and was tested on it's own and works fine. So this wasn't the issue,)
