The sliding door electrical box works perfectly . I've installed my Rainbird sprinkler panel and electrical outlets in this box. I've installed it outside. The plastic cover is of decent quality and from what I can see, it weather resistent.

A bit flimsy
I bought this as I couldn't find an inside wall plastic postbox. Works perfectly, if a bit flimsy. But it's a fraction of the price of imported postboxes and won't rust or rot like my previous ones so I'm very happy.
