Terminating the internal jack requires a punch down tool — this is not a tool-free connector, so budget for that if you don't already own one. Follow either the T568A or T568B wiring standard consistently across your installation, as mixing the two on the same run can cause connectivity issues. The adhesive pad suits smooth, clean wall surfaces best; for uneven or textured walls, screw fixing may give a more secure, lasting hold.
