SFP 1.25G 80KM Pair T1490/R1550NM LC DDM

The SFP-GE-BX80-A/B 1.25G 80KM BiDi WDM SFP Pair is designed for long-distance Gigabit Ethernet communication over a single strand of single-mode fibre. Using Bidirectional (BiDi) and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, the pair transmits and receives data at different optical wavelengths, allowing two-way communication over one fibre core.

The A and B modules use complementary wavelength configurations. Module A transmits at 1490nm and receives at 1550nm, while Module B transmits at 1550nm and receives at 1490nm. This wavelength arrangement enables both modules to communicate through the same fibre.

With a specified data rate of 1.25Gbps and a rated reach of up to 80KM, this SFP pair is designed for compatible Gigabit Ethernet switches, routers, fibre media converters and other network devices with supported SFP ports.

The modules use an LC optical interface and standard SFP form factor. Their DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) capability can help monitor module operating conditions when supported by the host device.

Actual transmission distance depends on the installed fibre, optical power budget, connector and splice losses, and compatibility between both ends of the link.
