The A-88S Automatic Fibre Optic Fusion Splicer is a professional and portable fibre optic cable splicing machine designed for FTTH installations, telecommunications, network infrastructure, fibre optic maintenance and repair. With six-motor automatic focusing, multiple alignment options and automatic, semi-automatic and manual welding modes, the A-88S provides flexibility for a wide range of fibre splicing applications.

Supporting Single Mode (SM), Multi Mode (MM), DSF and NZDS fibre, the A-88S is suitable for various fibre optic network installations. Its 5-inch high-definition capacitive touchscreen and graphical user interface provide an intuitive operating experience.

Integrated Optical Power Meter & VFL

The A-88S also includes an Optical Power Meter (OPM) with a measurement range of -70 to +10dBm and wavelength support from 850–1650nm across 10 bands.

The built-in Visual Fault Locator (VFL) provides a red-light testing range of ≥15km, helping technicians identify fibre faults and verify fibre continuity during installation and maintenance.

The built-in 6700mAh battery and external AC adapter make the unit suitable for both field and workshop applications.
