This FTTH outdoor fibre optic cable carries 2 single-mode fibres inside a shielded, armoured construction with a PVC outer sheath. Supplied as a 1000m (1 km) length, it is built for outdoor fibre runs that need extra mechanical protection: FTTH and FTTx roll-outs, telecoms infrastructure, network extensions and links between buildings on a campus or industrial site.
Single-mode fibre is the standard choice for long-distance links; the distance you can achieve depends on the transceivers, wavelength and data rate used. The cable is supplied unterminated, ready for splicing or field termination to suit your installation.
