S-80 Automatic Fibre Optic Fusion Splicer – FTTH Fibre Optic Cable Splicing Machine

The S-80 Fibre Optic Fusion Splicer is a professional automatic fibre optic cable splicing machine designed for efficient and reliable fibre optic installation, repair and maintenance. It is suitable for FTTH, FTTx, telecommunications, data networks, CATV and other fibre optic applications.

Featuring six-motor automatic focusing, the S-80 supports multiple fibre types, including Single Mode (SM), Multi Mode (MM), DSF and NZDS fibre. Its automatic, semi-automatic and manual welding modes provide flexibility for different installation requirements.

The machine features a 5-inch high-definition capacitive touchscreen with an intuitive GUI interface and supports up to 1,000 welding records. With a built-in 6700mAh lithium battery, it can perform approximately 200 typical welding and heating operations, making it suitable for field installations where portability is important.

The S-80 is designed to provide precise fibre alignment and low splice loss, with typical specified values of 0.02dB for SMF, 0.01dB for MMF and 0.04dB for DSF/NZDS, measured using the ITU-T shear method.

The built-in tensile testing function supports 1.96N–2.1N, helping provide additional verification after splicing.

Portable Field-Ready Design

With its compact design, rechargeable 6700mAh battery and included carrying accessories, the S-80 is suitable for technicians working both in workshops and in the field. The external power adapter supports AC100–240V, 50/60Hz input.
